Case Information

The Law Office of Richard S. Cornfeld, LLC, along with The Bruning Law Firm, LLC, and Cuneo Gilbert & Laduca, LLP, brought a class action against Massage Envy on behalf of individuals who purchased non-member massages and who alleged that the amount of hands-on massage time they received was less than what they were promised.

In April of 2020, the court issued an Order preliminarily approving the settlement reached between class members and Massage Envy. Pursuant to the settlement, members of the class can make a claim for a $7.00 cash payment, which represents the vast majority of the value of the hands-on massage time that the plaintiffs alleged they were promised and paid for but did not receive for their first massage.
